This thing called life♥

Life is unexplainable, all these twists and turns that sometimes bring us right back to where we started. But in some weird way they move us forward, we just don’t know it yet. We all have our daily struggles that sometimes make us question our reality, like this can’t be life. This cant be real. Hold on, it will get better & it will all make sense. Just be patient. It will be worth the ride.

Some new tips!

Hey dolls,

Soo for those of you who don't know I'm obsessed with my Iphone and all the cool apps. Especially my Organic Beauty app. I have found such great tips from this app and now I'm going to share them with you:)

1. The Brown Sugar Massage- used to remove your dead skin cells
  • When washing your face, add a nit of black sugar with your foaming cleanser. Lather them with water in the palm of the hand, and gently massage over your face. Then rinse with water.
2. Lemon- used as a dead skin cell remover
  • First clean the area where dead skin cells are attached with soap then massage with the massage cream. Your dead cells will be gone.
3. Natural hair rinse- used to soften your hair
  • Put an egg yolk and a bit of olive oil in a bowl. Then mix them both together, and apply it on your hair thoroughly. After 10 minutes, rinse them it off with warm water.
  • To remove dandruff- use a used green tea bag in a kettle with warm water and boil it. Use remainder of whats inside the tea bag like a rinse.
4. Apple Facial- used as the best way to tighten wide pores
  • Cut an apple in half and remove seeds and chop them. Then boil some milk along with cut up apples. When the apples look like jelly, cool them and apply to your face. Leave it for 20 to 30 minutes and rinse with warm water.
5. Natural eye cream-
  • After your wash your face and apply your lotion. Put a little bit of olive oil over your face. You can also use a spoon of honey and two spoons of white wine as eye cream.
6. Hair loss prevention
  • After you shampooed your hair with warm water, rinse your hair with cold water. The cold water causes your pores to open and tighten.
7. Lip Moisturizer- to prevent your lips from being dry
  • Put a steam towel on your lips for a few minutes and apply eye cream or skin food on them. Repeat this for more than two days right before you go to bed. The morning after you have applied the cream on your lips, wash your lips with cold water or use cold towel to massage on your lips for clean finish.
Hope these tips are helpful  XoXo

My trip to the museum♥

So today on my day off I decided to visit the Queens Museum of Art. Can I just say this is definitely my new found hobby. Since I came back from school I have had a lot more time on my hands to do the things that I really enjoy. I love art and love observing & learning! The Queens Museum of Art's mission is to design and provide an art exhibition and educational experience that promote the appreciation and enjoyment of art, support the creative efforts of artists, and enhance the quality of life through interpreting, collecting, and exhibiting art, architecture, and design. Unfortunately half of the museum is under construction, so I did not get to see it all but as soon as the other side opens I will have to make another visit. I really enjoyed myself and hope you all enjoy the pictures<3

New Trends:Maxi skirts & Crochet tops

I came across this picture below of Ashley Tisdale & Vanessa Hudgens on Vogue Diaries and fell in love with the way Ashley Tisdale not only paired her outfit but the way she accessorized it. So cute!  Both her skirt and top are Free People.

The maxi-skirt is such a MAJOR trend for 2011! Many designers from Alice & Olivia to DVF are bringing them to the runway. You can style this trend to fit your personality, whether it be with a cute simple top to a vibrant  bright one! & you can't forget the way you accessorize iT, completes the final look!

Crochet/String pullover sweaters and cropped tops are becoming one of my fav new trends. You can throw this over anything. Not only does it look fab with a maxi skirt but also with a cute pair of ripped shorts & and cute sandals or even over your bathing suit on a day out to the beach. Vince & Free People have really cute ones:)
